Joanne

Joanne joined Highland in 1995. She shares her home with a variety of furry friends including a Bloodhound, Newfoundland, two Beagles, a Border Collie, Labrador Retriever, and several cats. She also has goats and a donkey.

Barbara

Barbara joined Highland in March 2007. She lives with her husband, Bob, and two great Yorkies, Harry & Brooklyn. When she's not at work she enjoys spending time working on and enjoying her large fish pond.

Michelle

Michelle graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in education. She transferred her teaching skills to dogs and their owners in basic and advanced training and in the show ring for conformation and obedience. In the 80's and 90's she owned and operated a training and boarding facility in Hellertown. She then moved her work to the veterinary field and she joined Highland in 2008. She has three dogs and one cat.

Jen

Jen has worked in the veterinary field since 1997 and joined Highland in 2007. She has always loved animals and went to Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture. Jen lives nearby with her very supportive husband Jesse, her two children, Gavin and Dana, and many and varied pets. She hopes to continue working at Highland for a very long time, and may one day elect to continue her education in the veterinary field.

Laura

Laura joined our staff in August 2009 and is happy to be back home in Pennsylvania after a five year hiatus in Arizona where she was employed as an N.A.C.A certified Animal Control Officer. In her time off she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with her husband and their dogs.

Sue

Sue lives in Orefield with her husband George and multiple pets including parrots, cats and dogs. She used to work as a medical assistant for thirteen years before deciding to move to the veterinary field due to her passion for animals. In her spare time, Sue enjoys showing her Chihuahuas and Pomeranian at dog shows and knitting.
