Donald Lowe, VMD

Dr. Lowe and his wife, Barb, established Highland Animal Hospital in 1987. He attended Bucknell University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Outside the office, he enjoys skiing, racing his Sunfish sailboat and generally being outdoors. Don and Barb share their home with a two Miniature Dachshunds, Maggie and Gus.

Carl Fortna, DVM

Dr. Fortna graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1991 with a B.S. in Biology and earned his veterinary degree from Cornell University in 1995. He has worked at Highland since 2001. He currently resides in Berks county with his wife Suzanne and their four children. Outside of work he enjoys coaching team sports with his children and Penn State football.

Paul Adolf, VMD

Dr. Paul Adolf earned his V.M.D. degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. He also holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Penn State. He joined Highland in 2003 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice. Dr. Adolf and his wife Anne have two grown daughters and live in Easton with their cat, Howie and dog, Lucy.

Marie Weber, VMD

Dr. Weber graduated from Penn State and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced veterinary medicine for thirty years in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. She lives in North Whitehall with her husband, two dogs Dixie & Kona and two cats. Her interests include gardening, the 4-H veterinary science club and cooking.

Brandon Mattson, DVM

Dr. Mattson was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin.  He obtained his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University.  He earned his veterinary degree from Iowa State University.  Prior to joining Highland Animal Hospital in 2012 he was employed in Northeast Pennsylvania at an emergency and referral hospital.  Dr. Mattson currently resides with his wife, four children, and their Cairn Terrier. Outside of work he enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and woodworking.
